1.       Goals/Learning Objectives:  Develops increasing abilities to understand and use language to communicate information, experiences, ideas, feelings, opinions, needs, questions, and for other varied purposes 

2.       Materials Needed:
Paper
Pen
                Pictures of Characters

3.       Procedures:
a.       Introduction: Talk about the characters they previously made and remind them of their names
b.      Main activity: Have each child dictate a sentence using the format There’s a _____ in my ______. Write it down and take a picture of their character to create a book for the classroom.
c.       Closure:  Read the book to the class and allow children to take turns looking at the book
d.      Transition: Allow students to go onto center activities

4.       Suggestions for Simplification/Extension:
Have a child create a book for their character rather than just a sentence

5.       Assessment:  What method will you use to evaluate the objectives and child learning?
Observe the process and see if the students are using the materials to create items properly


6.       Evaluation: 
a.       List of all children who participated in the activity, outcomes, modifications
b.      Evaluation of your teaching
