On the 100th day of school we had a few special activities that the kids really enjoyed doing as stations!

I placed M&Ms in a can and skittles in a can and the students wrote their names on a sticky note and guessed which one had 100. |
|
Then they were able to see what they could make using 100 foam balls, they worked as a team at this station and there were a few interesting ideas that came from this.

The students also were able to measure items around the room and find what was 100cm. They then went back to their math notebooks and either wrote a sentence or drew a picture to go along with what they found.
The last station was to find the numbers around the room. I created circles with numbers 1-100 on them and colored them 5 colors. The students then had a hundred's chart and colored the numbers as they found them around the room. |
